Oakhaven Hospice Trust provides specialist palliative care and support to those facing life-limiting illness and their loved ones in both a home and hospice setting.
Our team of specialist Oakhaven nurses, doctors, counsellors and physiotherapists ease physical symptoms and offer psychological, spiritual and social support.
Their care is tailored to suit the needs of each individual and, with a blend of expertise and compassion, the team offers support for people when they most need it.
This website will guide you through all aspects of our work and also explain how Oakhaven is funded plus how we fundraise to ensure continuity of all our services.
Patient Care
Oakhaven is an 8 bedded independent hospice offering specialist palliative care to patients in a variety of settings including, community care, day hospice and the in-patient unit. Care is provided to patients with life limiting illness such as cancer but also other diseases including multiple sclerosis, motor neurone disease, heart disease and respiratory disease. We believe in caring for patients together with their families and offer a wide range of support both during the patient's illness and, for the family, into bereavement. In all care settings, medical and nursing care is supported by complementary therapy, physiotherapy and counselling.

Double celebration for Oakhaven!
Tuesday May 4th was a day of double celebration for Oakhaven Hospice. First we were proud to be celebrating the opening of our newly redeveloped day hospice facilities in Pennington Chase with friends, volunteers, staff & supporters. Nine months of hard work has seen the building developed into the wonderful facilities formally opened today by Oakhaven Patron Susan Hampshire.

Bike & Hike 2010
Come and join us with your family, friends or colleagues in exploring the beautiful New Forest on Sunday, 3rd October. Come for the day and participate in the famous "New Forest Bike & Hike Charity Challenge" in aid of Oakhaven Hospice.
