OAKHAVEN HOSPICE PRESS RELEASE26th May 2006 High Sheriff of Hampshire On Friday May 26th, The High Sheriff of Hampshire, Mrs June Benson paid a visit to Oakhaven Hospice in Lymington. Mrs Benson was met on arrival by Chief Executive Andrew Ryde and Director of Fundraising Mike Denny. After a tour of the day centre, and a chat with several members of the nursing staff Mrs Benson was given a conducted tour of the in-patient hospice and the grounds. She was very impressed by the facilities for patients and their families and was pleased to observe that all the bedrooms open onto the magnificent garden. Mrs Benson spent nearly two hours at Oakhaven and before leaving, she thanked Andrew Ryde and all the staff for their hospitality. -- End -- |
