LPE Cheque Presentation

On Friday May 5th Tony Chalk, the new Managing Director of Lymington Precision Engineers visited Oakhaven Hospice in Lymington.

After a tour of the hospice by the Chief Executive, Andrew Ryde, Mr Chalk presented a cheque for £2500 in sponsorship for all the shop bags used in the Oakhaven Shops located in Lymington, New Milton and Hythe.

After the presentation, Tony Chalk said “I feel very privileged to be given the opportunity to make this presentation to you today on behalf of the new owners of LPE.   I am aware of the support that Leon Crouch and the Fullers Group have given to you over many years and I am more than pleased to continue this support.   Thank you and your Oakhaven team for the wonderful service you provide to our community“

Oakhaven Hospice supports not only at the Hospice but also out in the community.  Our services are always free of charge.  We support over 120 patients weekly and our Community Team make 2,500 home visits and telephone contacts each year.  Our Bereavement team makes in excess of 1,600 contacts with the community every year while the Day Hospice has more than 1,200 attendances by patients annually.
