THE OAKHAVEN LOTTERY

Oakhaven’s weekly Lottery has now been running for nine successful years. Since 1997 there have been 500 lucky winners of the £1000.00 first prize. It is now a vital and established part of Oakhaven’s fundraising activities.

To build on the past success of the lottery,Oakhaven hopes to increase the membership numbers by reminding everybody of the prizes to be won each and every week. For just £1.00 per week every player has the chance to win one of the following in the £1.500.00 total prize fund-1st prize- £1.000.00, 2nd prize £250.00 3rd prize £100.00 with a further 15 runners-up prizes of £10.00.

Oakhaven Hospice requires £2 million to keep its unique service operating for the benefit of the The New Forest community. In addition to the eight- bedded in-patient unit there is a Day Hospice operating three times per week,together with Care at Home and a Bereavement Counselling Unit. These services are part of what makes Oakhaven such a special place in the hearts of the community. Most people know of a relative, friend, neighbour who have been cared for by the doctors and nursing staff at the Hospice. By joining the lottery you will help us to continue this vital work. END

Oakhaven Hospice supports not only at the Hospice but also out in the community. Our services are always free of charge. We support over 120 patients weekly and our Community Team make 2,500 home visits and telephone contacts each year. Our Bereavement team makes in excess of 1,600 contacts with the community every year while the Day Hospice has more than 1,200 attendances by patients annually.
