Give now for the future

Can you help Oakhaven Hospice today to secure its future for tomorrow?

The demand for Oakhaven's services is growing

Over recent years we have strived to be as responsive as possible to the increasing demand for our services. However, the cost-of-living crisis means our funds are not stretching as far as they used to. Pair that with decreased income and the increased demand, and the future is looking very challenging indeed for Oakhaven.

We expected this year to be challenging and the first four months of the financial year have confirmed this. Oakhaven is currently at a shortfall of £100,000 against expected income and we anticipate the year to become even tougher.

Every donation, however small, makes a difference

This is why we ask you to donate whatever you can today. It is our community's support that has always enabled Oakhaven to grow, to flourish and to provide end-of-life care for everyone in our catchment area, free of charge.

Oakhaven is your local hospice and every donation, however small, can help to provide all the vital services needed to ease suffering and restore dignity to death. Please support your local hospice in whichever way you can - whether it is a kind donation today, giving on a regular basis, leaving a gift in your will or giving the gift of time as a volunteer.

Leave Oakhaven a gift in your Will

It is because of the legacy of Phoebe and John Coates that Oakhaven Hospice exists. The land on which the Hospice sits was once their home. It was gifted to the charity so that Oakhaven could be established and so that people at end-of-life would receive specialist care in a safe and comfortable environment.

One in four of our patients is supported thanks to people leaving Oakhaven Hospice a gift in their Will. We are extremely grateful for all gifts in Wills, whatever their size.
