OAKtober is your opportunity to raise funds for Oakhaven Hospice. All money raised will help local families during the most difficult of times. With only a small proportion of our costs funded by government sources, every penny raised makes a difference, enabling us to continue providing exceptional care, comfort and support to patients facing end of life and their loved ones, both within the Hospice itself and out in the New Forest, Totton and Waterside community.
Wear Green Day
Get involved in our Wear Green Day on Friday 25th October
Could you wear green for Oakhaven Hospice in exchange for a donation? Our Wear Green Day is a great way for everyone to get involved.
Wear green clothes, hats, wigs, facepaint... you choose! You could simply wear green eyeshadow, don your favourite green socks or be flamboyant in a green feather boa! Simply wear green and donate what you can.

Care for a Cuppa
Oakhaven invites you to put the kettle on and join ‘Care for a Cuppa’ this Oaktober.
Whether you’re a coffee, tea or hot chocolate lover, a keen baker, or just like to gather with your friends to ‘do something great’ - this is the perfect feel-good fundraiser!
We have everything you need to make it happen, from printable invitations and cake toppers to recipes and fun activities.

Your fundraising support can make a difference
Oakhaven provides specialist end-of-life care and support for patients and their families, in the hospice and in homes throughout the New Forest, Totton and Waterside area - free of charge.
We also provide specialist support to everyone living in our communities who is navigating a life-limiting illness, caring for a loved one or experiencing a loss or bereavement. Demand for our services grows every year. Last year Oakhaven cared for 1,400 patients and families - and 3,200 people visited the Coates Centre to benefit from our wellbeing support.
Every day it costs over £21,500* to fund our services. Yet the NHS covers just 11%*. For the remaining 89%* we rely on your kind donations, fundraising, gifts in wills and income from our shops and social enterprise Oakhaven Care Ltd.
