For 30 years Oakhaven Hospice has been caring for the community of the New Forest and Waterside and more recently that of Totton and the surrounding areas.
From small beginnings, the hospice has now blossomed into a well respected and loved part of our community providing support and care for all those with a life-limiting illness.
Oakhaven aims to continue to grow to meet the ongoing needs of all those facing end of life in whatever way. We want to reach out and support all those that need us and to do that we need your continued support.
Support from our regular givers, who make a commitment to donate to the charity on an ongoing basis is invaluable. Oakhaven would like to invite you to become one of these most loyal supporters and with your help, the charity has the reassurance we need to continue to provide professional care and support to our patients and their loved ones.
Your efforts and generosity enable Oakhaven to provide our many services to our patients and their loved ones, free of charge. It costs £5m to run the hospice annually - that’s £13,689 a day, £571 per hour and £9.51 every minute.
However you choose to donate – whether monthly, quarterly or annually – and how much you decide to give is entirely up to you. It will be a regular gift that you give to help us support our patients and their loved ones when they need us the most.
It is really important that we can continue to deliver all of our services free of charge to our patients and their loved ones now and in the future.

How your donations help
£6 a month helps transport patients to and from our Day Hospice where they can enjoy a social day, shared laughter, a hearty lunch and relax for a while.
£12 a month gives those coping with a diagnosis or following the death of loved one the opportunity to work through their emotions with one of our counsellors.
£36 a month helps to bring the hospice to your home, where our community teams can support you, allowing you to remain at home and independent for as long as possible.
