Oakhaven's Business Challenge tasks local businesses and organisations to take £50 and turn it into as much money as possible in 50 days. The challenge provides a great way to build team spirit within your organisation and we provide all the support you need with your fundraising.

What difference could you make by taking part in the challenge?

When you face a life-limiting illness, every single moment matters. Oakhaven nurses are simply amazing; you only need to spend a few minutes with one to know just how special they all are – and why they touch so many lives each and every day.

Last year alone, we supported 1,394 patients and their families with palliative and end-of-life care, with many receiving support from our community nursing team in their own homes across the New Forest, Totton and Waterside communities.

Yet demand for our services is constantly growing and to continue providing our vital services to meet the future needs of our community, additional nurses will be required.

By taking part in the Oakhaven Business Challenge, you will help ensure that our dedicated and specialist nurses are there for our patients and their loved ones when they need us the most.

It costs on average £38,460 per year for a nurse to provide specialist care for Oakhaven patients.

Your team will receive £50 from us to grow into as much money as possible in 50 days. We will provide any support you need with your fundraising.

Business fundraising for Oakhaven Hospice

How you choose to fundraise is up to you. Suggestions include Wear Green days, cake sales and bake-off challenges, raffles, sponsored walks, and office sweepstakes… or you could enter individuals or a team into organised events.

A range of support materials will be available to help you meet your target and we will share your efforts on our website and social media to help you keep the momentum going.

Our dedicated Corporate Fundraising Manager will be working alongside you throughout your challenge to encourage your business and offer support and ideas to help you maximise your fundraising efforts.
