Help us raise funds for Oakhaven Hospice!
All funds raised from the Santa Dash will help local people during the most difficult of times. With only a small proportion of our costs funded by government sources, every donation makes a difference, enabling us to continue providing exceptional care, comfort and support to patients facing end of life and their loved ones, both within the Hospice itself and out in the New Forest, Totton and Waterside community.
Santa Dash 2021
We were thrilled that our Santa Dash was able to take place last December for the first time since 2019. It was wonderful to once again see Santas of all ages fill the High Street for this festive fun-filled event. Santa Dash really marks the start of the festive period and gives everyone the chance to have a bit of fun getting into the Christmas spirit, as well as raising much-needed fundraising income for the Hospice.
The warmup and commentary provided by Rob of The Gym Tin kept the Santas motivated. Thank you to everyone who took part and to John D Wood of Lymington who once again support the event and turned out in force on the day!
Santa Dash 2020
Last year, government restrictions due to the pandemic meant we were unable to host a big Santa Dash. Instead, we encouraged you to dress up as Santas and run at your own time, in your family 'bubbles'.
We would like to say a big thank you to all those who took part in Santa Dash Week from Monday 7th to Sunday 13th December 2000. The event raised an important £4,200 and all funds raised supported Oakhaven's important services for the New Forest, Totton and Waterside community.
We had Santa's walking their dogs, out on the water, jogging scenic routes... lots of creative dashes and our Santa's popped up all over the local area! Well done and thank you to all who took part!
