Join us on 8th December for our annual 3km festive fun run around Lymington!

Register at the Gates Hall at Lymington Community Centre on Sunday 8th December from 9am to 11am.

We look forward to welcoming you to our festive fun run in Lymington on Sunday 8th December 2024. The event will start and finish in the High Street outside John D Wood & Co Sales and Letting Agents, our event headline sponsor.

This is a festive fun run! Some people will be running fast, others will be jogging sedately, walking, strolling, skipping, hopping - or even scootering! Children in decorated buggies are welcome, as are mobility scooters. If you are bringing your dog feel free to dress them up – but short leads are a must.

Race starts: 11.30am

Registration and Santa suit collection

You will be able to register and pick up your fun run numbers and Santa suits from Lymington Community Centre (New Street, Lymington, SO41 9BQ) on:

Saturday 7 December: The Phoenix Room from 10am – 1pm, or
Sunday 8 December: Gates Hall from 9am – 11am

If you have booked online, please bring a copy of your booking confirmation (on phone/printed) if you can.

Please be aware that the Santa suits only come in the following sizes:

Adult – One Size / Child – One Size / Small Child

We hope to supply everyone with a Santa suit, however, your suit is not guaranteed and will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis. You might like to bring a belt with you, as the belts supplied with the suits are unreliable. If you prefer, you are welcome to wear any festive outfit rather than a Santa suit.

Your sponsorship is vital - even £10 per person will make a difference

Your Santa Dash registration fee merely helps us cover the event costs.

Every penny you raise in sponsorship for your 'Dash' will help fund Oakhaven Hospice's running costs, which currently amount to more than £21,500 each day.

With only 11% of our costs funded by the NHS, every pound you raise in sponsorship will make a difference, enabling us to continue providing exceptional care, comfort and support to patients facing end of life and their loved ones, both within the Hospice itself and out in our New Forest, Totton and Waterside communities.

If each Santa Dasher were to raise £10 in sponsorship, this would directly help us to provide compassionate care and support for local families.
