Oakhaven Treecycle

Book now for collection 8-12th January 2026

Oakhaven Treecycle

Book your Christmas tree collection and help us support local families!

Oakhaven Treecycle is a new initiative for 2026!

Christmas tree collection and recycling

From Thursday 8th to Monday 12th January 2026, Oakhaven Treecycle volunteers will be collecting Christmas trees from houses in the SO41, SO42, SO45 and BH25 postcodes and taking them to be recycled. If this new initiative goes well, we hope to roll it out to additional local postcodes the following year.

To take part in the Oakhaven Treecycle, book your collection online using the form below. Our suggested minimum donation is £15, which will help us to provide our vital hospice care services to local patients and their families. One of our team will be in touch nearer the time to confirm which day your collection will take place, along with instructions for the collection.

We are extremely grateful to our sponsors, Heppenstalls and New Forest Escapes, for supporting the Oakhaven Treecycle in this inaugural year.

Would you like to volunteer for Oakhaven Treecycle, please contact Hannah Davies on fundraising@oakhavenhospice.co.uk or call 01590 677773.

Please note that the number of collections that we are able to provide depends largely on the number of people who volunteer to help with this initiative!

In this inaugural year, we have limited Christmas tree collections to the BH25, SO41, SO42 and SO45 postcodes. We hope very much to have enough volunteers to help us include all the postcodes in our catchment area in future years.

Your donations help us to make a difference

Every donation made for the Oakhaven Treecycle will help fund Oakhaven Hospice's running costs, which currently amount to more than £24,500 each day.

With only 11% of our costs funded by the NHS, every pound you donate will make a difference, enabling us to continue providing exceptional care, comfort and support to patients facing end of life and their loved ones, both within the Hospice itself and out in our New Forest, Totton and Waterside communities.

Many thanks to our Oakhaven Treecycle sponsors!
