Bereavement support for all at Oakhaven
Our bereavement support services are open to all. You don’t need to have lost your loved one at Oakhaven. Whether recently bereaved, or if you are months or even years into your journey, you can find support at Oakhaven Wellbeing. You can drop into the Coates Centre at anytime during opening hours and talk to someone.
You can access our Bereavement Support which includes Counselling and Complementary Therapy, but also our social and wellbeing activities and courses.
Oakhaven support sessions for those bereaved
Our Bereavement Coffee Mornings take place on the first Wednesday of the month from 10am until 12noon, and we shall holding Bereavement Teas every third Wednesday of the month from 1.30pm until 3.30pm.
Meet others whose lives have been affected by bereavement, join us for a cuppa and biscuits to chat with others when you feel able and learn more about our bereavement support.
There is also our Men's Bereavement Support Group, a closed group for men living with loss and grief for a partner/spouse, parent, sibling or friend, which meets weekly for six sessions. Contact us for more details.
