Care for a Cuppa

Help us fundraise for Oakhaven!

Care for a cuppa

Make a difference for local families by fundraising for Oakhaven Hospice

Care for a Cuppa

Join together with friends and family to host your very own Care for a Cuppa tea party or coffee morning.

At Oakhaven we understand the importance of a cuppa and a chat. Every year we make thousands of cups of tea and coffee in the Hospice and in our Coates Centre, providing comfort for our patients and their families.

Register for Care for a Cuppa and you'll receive a special fundraising pack including posters, recipes and an easy and fun 'who takes sugar' game to play. You'll also have more resources to download from our website, including colour-in pages for children. Not enough cups? No problem, get in touch and we can lend you some.

An excellent opportunity to join together with friends!

Care for a Cuppa can be held at home with friends and family, at work, at school or in a local community venue. Whether you're a coffee, tea or hot chocolate lover, a keen baker, or just like to gather with your friends to 'do something great' - this is the perfect feel-good fundraiser!

Why not have a themed tea party, a 'bake off' tea party, a book swap tea party, an alfresco tea party, a 'tee off' party, an around the world tea party, a green tea party - the possibilities are endless. The only requirement is to get together, have fun and raise a cup and some money for Oakhaven.

Your fundraising support can help us make a difference...

£20

could help transport patients to our Day Hospice where they can enjoy a social day, shared laughter, a hearty lunch and relax for a while.

£47

could buy one hour of specialist compassionate nursing care in our Inpatient Unit or in patients' homes across our community.

£94

could help pay for two sessions of counselling and bereavement support for someone struggling with their loss.

Sign up for Care for a Cuppa using the form below. We will then send you your fundraising pack. For more information, please contact our Community Fundraising Team at 01590 677773 or fundraising@oakhavenhospice.co.uk.

Your fundraising support can make a difference

Oakhaven provides specialist end-of-life care and support for patients and their families, in the hospice and in homes throughout the New Forest, Totton and Waterside area - free of charge.

We also provide specialist support to everyone living in our communities who is navigating a life-limiting illness, caring for a loved one or experiencing a loss or bereavement. Demand for our services grows every year. Last year Oakhaven cared for 1,400 patients and families - and 3,200 people visited the Coates Centre to benefit from our wellbeing support.

Every day it costs over £21,500* to fund our services. Yet the NHS covers just 11%*. For the remaining 89%* we rely on your kind donations, fundraising, gifts in wills and income from our shops and social enterprise Oakhaven Care Ltd.
