Directions to Oakhaven Hospice
Oakhaven Hospice is situated just outside the New Forest town of Lymington, just off the A337 (the main Lyndhurst to New Milton Road)
From Lyndhurst: Stay on the A337 as you arrive in Lymington and head towards Pennington. The White Hart pub is on the left-hand side. At the next roundabout, take the first exit left, and then turn immediately right into Lower Pennington Lane.
From New Milton: As you arrive on the outskirts of Lymington you will come to a Shell Garage on your right-hand side. At the next roundabout, take the third exit and then turn immediately right into Lower Pennington Lane
Finding us in Lower Pennington Lane:
The entrance to Oakhaven is ¼ of a mile down Lower Pennington Lane, around a bend just after you pass Northfield Nurseries – there is a white picket fence on either side of the driveway.
For Administration, Fundraising, Day Hospice and the Coates Centre turn into this driveway. If you are visiting a current in-patient or the CNS team drive past this entrance and take the next left turn into the In-Patient Unit drive and car park.

Feedback on our services
You will be looked after at home by one of our Clinical Nurse Specialists (CNS) from our community nursing team. They will be your primary contact at the Hospice and will work with you and your family to understand your needs and how best to address them.
Our teams of community nurses are specialists in providing support to people during the last years of their lives and are able to help you with the physical, emotional and practical aspects of your care. But there will be times when you or your family may need support from other members of the team such as our counsellors, physiotherapists, spiritual care team and complementary therapists.
You and your family will also be able to access to our 24/7 advice and support phone line. You can use this at any time to ask questions or seek reassurance about someone you are caring for.
There may be times when you need additional support during the night, this may be provided by one of our community registered nurses or alternatively Oakhaven care may provide support for you with your personal care and help with your medication requirements.
