Light up a Life with Oakhaven this Christmas
Wherever you are, whomever you have lost and whenever it was, you are warmly invited to join us as we cherish the memories of our loved ones.
We look forward to welcoming you to Light up a Life 2026
Light up a Life is Oakhaven’s annual service of remembrance and thanksgiving for the lives of loved ones we have lost. Each event is a beautiful and uplifting occasion and a pause for reflection before the festive season gets underway.

Everyone is welcome! The festive season is always a poignant time to remember cherished ones who are no longer with us, however long ago we lost them. Light up a Life is an opportunity for everyone in our community to come together to remember their loved ones. You do not have to have lost someone who was cared for at Oakhaven to participate.
We welcome your Light up a Life dedications
We welcome your dedications, a wonderful way to remember those close to us. If you would like to make a donation in memory of your loved one, to accompany your dedication, we would be very grateful.

This Christmas, there will be someone missing...
This Christmas Jack and his family will be together. There will be all the traditions. But for the first time, Anne won’t be there.
It was during the frightening months of cancer that Oakhaven came into Jack and Anne’s lives. The Oakhaven team concentrated on keeping Anne comfortable and free from pain, while giving Jack and their daughters precious space to be together.
"Oakhaven made such a difference at such a difficult time. We always knew there was somebody at the end of a phone, 24/7, who would listen and take action if needed."
