Profit for purpose

Business hand shake

Make a donation when people use your services to support Oakhaven Hospice

If your business is too busy to take part in fundraising events you might want to consider donating a proportion of your profit to support Oakhaven Hospice. It can be from a one off event or a monthly donation, a percentage of your profit or an exact amount from every item sold, but whatever you are able to donate will help to make a difference to local families facing end of life.

We are always looking to add local businesses so if you would like to get involved please contact our Corporate Fundraising Manager, Natalie Hutchins on 01590 677773 or business@oakhavenhospice.co.uk.

Some of the local businesses who donate include:

Unclaimed Client Accounts

If you are a local Solicitor firm dealing with unclaimed client accounts can be a challenge. They take up extra time when reconciling accounts, creating more administrative work, as they must be accounted for and explained on an annual basis. One of the ways to avoid this hassle and at the same time make a positive impact on the community is by donating these unclaimed client accounts to Oakhaven Hospice. Unlocking these funds could have a big impact on the work of your local Hospice.

We already have a fantastic relationship with a local law firm who has donated over £11,000 in client balances in 2025. This kind of donation could pay for the costs of caring for a patient in our Inpatient Unit for 2.5 days! If we can work with other local firms to do something similar imagine the difference you could all make to the lives of those with a life limiting illness and their families in your community

If you would like to talk to us about donating unclaimed client accounts please contact our Corporate Fundraising Manager, Natalie Hutchins on 01590 677773 or business@oakhavenhospice.co.uk.
