Learning outcomes:
By the end of this module delegates will have been enabled to:
- Discuss some theoretical principles associated with communication and demonstrate how it applies to palliative and end of life care.
- Understand and develop a range of assessment tools associated with palliative and end of life care planning.
- Analyse theories which relate to Loss, Grief & Bereavement.
- Identify and discuss relevant legislation relating to end of life care.
- Critically discuss professional and legal frameworks associated with palliative and end of life care.
- Appraise own and others clinical practice utilising research evidence in clinical decision making for palliative and end of life care.
- All course materials will be provided
An Oakhaven Certificate will be provided on completion of the Module.
