Oakhaven Golf Day at Barton on Sea Golf Club
Barton-On-Sea Golf Club, founded in 1897, is situated on the coast, south of the New Forest. Renowned golf course architects Vardon & Colt have influenced a links style layout that provides variety and challenges. Add sea breezes and breath-taking views, and the result ensures a memorable experience for golfersof all abilities.
The elegant and newly renovated Clubhouse is truly spectacular, commanding superb views across the Solent to the Needles on the Isle of Wight, along to Old Harry Rocks at Swanage. Situated overlooking the lake and an island green, the Clubhouse offers us a stunning location to host the day’s golf and an evening of entertainment.
Stableford competition
We invite you to compete in our Golf Day with teams of four players. Enjoy a fantastic day playing 18 holes, competing for the Oakhaven Bowl, and raising money to help Oakhaven Hospice support patients and families facing life-limiting illnesses throughout our New Forest, Totton and Waterside communities.
This will be a Stableford competition off a maximum handicap of 24 for men and 32 for ladies, with the best two scores on each hole being counted.
Team entry includes coffee and bacon roll on arrival, 18 hole golf competition, halfway house drinks and snacks, and evening dinner with guest speaker in the Clubhouse.
The Oakhaven Bowl
There will be a selection of prizes on the day, including trophies for the highest individual score (men and ladies), but most importantly you will be able to compete to win the chance to have your company/group name engraved onto the Oakhaven Bowl and become the Champions of the 2026 Oakhaven Golf Day.
