Oakhaven Hospice provides specialist palliative care and support to those facing life-limiting illness and their loved ones in both a home and hospice setting.

Our team of specialist Oakhaven nurses, doctors, counsellors and physiotherapists ease physical symptoms and offer psychological, spiritual and social support.

Our care is tailored to suit the needs of each individual and, with a blend of expertise and compassion, the team offers support for people when they need it most.

Information on the range of services we offer, at the hospice, through our wellbeing events and classes along with practical assistance to help you live with your illness can be found within the site.

Due to the coronavirus situation, there are some changes to our services at Oakhaven Hospice and the Coates Centre.

We are following national guidelines in the correct use of PPE and infection control. Visitors to the site are limited and asked to follow correct hand hygiene during their visit, observe social distancing rules and wear PPE as necessary.

The safety of our patients, staff and visitors is of the utmost importance to us and we have reviewed how we can reduce further risk moving forward.

When Heidi Rehman heard that our funds had suffere When Heidi Rehman heard that our funds had suffered due to the effects of Covid she wanted to help. Heidi delivered to the 32 houses in her close a Marigold seedling and some delicious homemade shortbread along with an Easter card and a message about why she had done this and saying if anyone wanted to make a small donation to Oakhaven it would be gratefully received. We are delighted that Heidi and her neighbours raised £470. A fantastic achievement from a lovely simple idea.
