Oakhaven Hospice provides specialist palliative care and support to those facing life-limiting illness and their loved ones in both a home and hospice setting.

Our team of specialist Oakhaven nurses, doctors, counsellors and physiotherapists ease physical symptoms and offer psychological, spiritual and social support.

Our care is tailored to suit the needs of each individual and, with a blend of expertise and compassion, the team offers support for people when they need it most.

Information on the range of services we offer, at the hospice, through our wellbeing events and classes along with practical assistance to help you live with your illness can be found within the site.

Due to the coronavirus situation, there are some changes to our services at Oakhaven Hospice and the Coates Centre.

We are following national guidelines in the correct use of PPE and infection control. Visitors to the site are limited and asked to follow correct hand hygiene during their visit, observe social distancing rules and wear PPE as necessary.

The safety of our patients, staff and visitors is of the utmost importance to us and we have reviewed how we can reduce further risk moving forward.

Throughout 2020, the ongoing challenges of Covid-1 Throughout 2020, the ongoing challenges of Covid-19 have meant that we’ve had to change the way in which we offer support, to make sure that, first and foremost, our patients, their loved ones and our staff remain safe.
We have adapted aspects of our care, for those at the end of life, enhanced PPE has been utilised and many of our support services have gone virtual, with video and phone calls to patients and their families replacing face to face contact.
As 2021 begins, the challenges remain, but we are still here - continuing to support our patients and their families with specialist care in many different ways #workingtogether #ppe #thenkyou

Led by his sisters Hannah and Lucy, 15 tractors drove from East Boldre, up Lymington High Street and they were welcomed with lots of waving and big smiles as people cheered them on.
The drivers all donated some money and they raised £200 between them for Oakhaven. #tractorfun #sociallydistanced
