Register now for our festive 3km fun run in Lymington
On Sunday 3rd December, Oakhaven will once again turn Lymington into a sea of Santas and festive friends. This will be our 14th annual Santa Dash, which over the years has raised more than £168,000 for the Hospice.
Known by many as the unofficial start of Christmas, our 'Santa Dash' is a fantastically fun opportunity to gather together with friends, family and colleagues for a run - jog - walk - stroll - or even scoot around the streets of Lymington. Although some might be speeding to win, many others 'dash' far more sedately.
Ticket prices have been reduced this year, recognising everyone's increased pressures with the cost of living. Register today for just £12.50 per Adult and £5 per Child - there is also a Family ticket for £30 (2 Adults and 2 Children).
Dressing up is all part of the fun!
We have a limited stock of Santa suits from previous years, available on a first-come, first-served basis. The sooner you register your entry, the more likely you are to receive a suit in your size!
We encourage regular Santa Dash supporters to wear again any Santa suits they may have saved from previous years - and encourage anyone who would prefer to wear fancy dress as a different festive character to do so! We invite all budding elves, snowmen, reindeer, Christmas puddings, crackers and fairies!
A fabulous event for all the family
Our Santa and Festive Friends Fun Run is a joyous event for all the family. Laughter is widespread as you suddenly recognise a friend hidden behind a Santa beard or fairy glitter!
Children will love to dress up and take part. Decorated pushchairs and buggies are welcome, as are mobility scooters. If you are bringing your dog, feel free to dress them up - but short leads are a must.
Spectators are welcome to come and cheer the participants as they dash around Lymington.
So ho-ho-ho what are you waiting for? Click here to register for our Santa and Festive Friends Fun Run today!
Run to help people living in the New Forest, Totton and Waterside areas
The funds raised by our Santa and Festive Friends Fun Run will help local people throughout the New Forest, Totton and Waterside areas at the most difficult of times. Did you know that as well as the beds in our In-Patient Unit, Oakhaven helps patients with life-limiting illnesses in their own homes - around 300 at any time? Last year we cared for 1,394 patients and their families and loved ones, with around 3,200 visiting our Coates Centre to benefit from wellbeing support.
If you know someone affected by a life-limiting illness, who is a carer, or who is living with a loss, support is available at the Coates Centre - click here to find out about Oakhaven Wellbeing support available to our community.
