Step back in time on HMS Victory and help raise funds for Oakhaven Hospice
HMS Victory is located within the National Museum of the Royal Navy at Portsmouth Historic Dockyard. One of the most iconic and historic ships in naval history, her interior has been beautifully restored to how she would have been in 1805 when she played a crucial role in the Battle of Trafalgar. A first-rate ship-of-the-line, HMS Victory was the largest class of ship in the Royal Navy at that time. She was a floating fortress, designed to lead the British fleet into battle.
HMS Victory is also the oldest commissioned warship in the world, making her a true piece of living history.

Raising funds for Oakhaven Hospice
Oakhaven Hospice provides specialist end-of-life care to patients and support for their loved ones. Our services in the Hospice and in patients’ homes throughout our New Forest, Totton and Waterside communities are always free of charge. In addition, Oakhaven Wellbeing, based at the Coates Centre, is here for everyone in our community who is navigating a life-limiting condition, caring for a loved one or experiencing a loss or bereavement.
Just 11% of Oakhaven’s annual costs of around £9 million are covered by the NHS. For the remaining 89% we rely on the generosity of our community’s kind donations, fundraising and gifts in wills, along with the income from our charity shops and home care provider, Oakhaven Care.
All funds raised by this exclusive HMS Victory dinner will help to fund Oakhaven Hospice's vital specialist services.
